[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Creating letters on to S1 for referral, appointments and discharge- Search for client and open client’s record.
- List on left hand side of screen, scroll down to Communications and Letters
- Click on Communications and Letters
- It will open a list of all letters sent to client.
- Open G:\Atrium Group\Atrium Forms & Correspondence Templates\Appointment Letters\Referral and discharge letters.
- Open up S1 and Folder next to each other on your screen
- Click and drag the letter you want to upload to S1 drop it on the part next to the icons that says ‘drag word file here to create letter’
- Select sender and recipient- sender= this organisation, recipient = the patient
- Click write now
- The letter will load
- All parts are automatically populated.
- Amend letter by going to home at top of page, update with relevant information of sessions, dates and engagement.
- Go back to S1 one mail merge tab at top of page
- Click on save final version and yes
- The document will show up at the bottom of the list of letters on the clients record.
- Right click on letter in list choose print (if onsite) or export to save (below)
- Click on export and MS word
- Choose where to save document- I click this PC and choose to save to my H Drive as it is confidential and easiest to find it
- Click OK when saved
- Go to H drive and print letter
- Delete letter from H Drive once printed and sent
