Technologies
Atrium Clinic implements a number of technologies designed to protect the privacy and integrity of your data when visiting our site.
TLS/SSL Encryption (HTTPS) – TLS encryption protects your privacy when browsing online. The standard HTTP protocol transmits requests for pages, and the content of those pages, in clear text. This means that information can be intercepted by any of the many computers between you and Atrium clinic’s servers. Optional SSL encryption was enabled for the entire site in 2021. Due to the possible sensitive nature of the results of our tests, and in general support of a more secure internet, we have decided to turn on SSL encryption by default for all connections as of October 2015.
