Inductor Training guide
In Atrium Clinic forensic induction training is done through access to processes information, training face-to-face run by the prison, access to one-to-one training with the service manager and an inductor who is a practitioner working in the prison who is identified to support the inducting colleague (inductee) on the ground and to build their knowledge and competencies against the checklist in the training schedule. This schedule is the responsibility of the inductee to complete in terms of dates but the inductor ‘s feedback to the manager will be invited on the inductee’s progress too. You should follow the guide below and refer to the training schedule. Individuals working across sites may already be familiar with the training and may not have to redo all elements in accordance with agreement with the service manager.

Notes on Master schedule- to remind you of key objectives
Key talk – This training is provided by regime; security protocols and rationale, Regime policies and processes, where to find and contacts. Finger- prints
Personal Protection training when avaiable – Learning points. Remove your self from trouble or risky situations. Be risk aware. Positioning in room for counselling service or access to spaces in lockdown.
ACCT training – Take you through documentation, why, how and when and then this will need to be practiced in role with inducting practitioner -refer to training schedule and Master notes.

S1 -role and how to complete record.
